Privacy Policy
Kaliber Gaming ("we," "us") operates the community Discord bot, web dashboard, and Palworld game servers reachable through www.kalibergaming.com. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to run the community service. The categories below cover everything our systems store about you:
- Discord account info — your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and server roles, returned by Discord OAuth when you sign in. Your email is not requested.
- Linked streaming channel info — if you opt in via the Streamer linking flow, we store the channel identifier (Twitch login, YouTube channel id, or Kick user id and slug) you authorize through the platform's OAuth. We do not store the access tokens themselves; they are used once to read your channel name and then discarded.
- Game-server activity — Palworld in-game character name, Steam/Xbox player id, and timestamps for sessions on our servers, used for leaderboards, raid rewards, and Kaliber Coin earnings.
- Purchase confirmations — when you buy Kaliber Coins or Premium Coins, Stripe processes the payment and returns a confirmation. We retain the Stripe session id, the amount, and the line items for receipt and audit purposes. Card numbers never touch our servers — they are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout.
- Session cookies — a single signed cookie keeps you logged in to the dashboard. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
- To authenticate you and tie purchases / inventory to your account.
- To deliver in-game items and announce streamer go-lives in the community Discord.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and to enforce community rules.
- To compute leaderboards, raid coin payouts, and streamer Kaliber Coin earnings (live-on-Palworld + on-server time).
Third-party services we share data with
Linking an account inherently shares data with that platform. We only request the minimum scopes needed to identify you:
-
Discord
identifyscope only) and DM delivery. -
Twitch
— read your public login when you opt in to streamer linking;
poll the public Helix
/streamsendpoint. - Google / YouTube — read your channel id and snippet to detect public live broadcasts. We use the YouTube Data API in compliance with the YouTube Terms of Service. You may revoke access at any time via the Google security settings.
- Kick — read your public Kick user id, name, and channel slug; poll the public livestreams endpoint to detect when you go live.
- Stripe — payment processing for Kaliber Coin / Premium Coin purchases.
How long we keep it
Account data persists for as long as you remain a member of the Kaliber Gaming community and have an active Discord link. Purchase receipts are retained for the period required by tax and accounting rules. You can request deletion of your linked accounts and on-site activity data at any time (see "Your rights" below).
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you what we store about your account,
- delete your linked Twitch / YouTube / Kick channel,
- delete your account record entirely (this removes the Discord link, your Kaliber Coins, and your linked channels — we cannot undo it),
- opt you out of go-live announcements without removing your account.
Children
Kaliber Gaming is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has registered with us, please contact us so we can remove the account.
Security
Logins are HTTPS-only and authenticated with HMAC-signed session cookies. Streamer-linking OAuth uses HMAC-signed state tokens with a 15-minute TTL, and Kick links additionally use PKCE (RFC 7636 S256). We do not store OAuth access tokens longer than the single request that reads your channel id.
Changes to this policy
When we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post a notice in the community Discord. Continued use after that date counts as acceptance of the revised policy.
